Our Stylist Says

I love this Hampshire Walnut corner unit because of its sleek, contemporary look that works well in both modern and traditional interiors. The warm walnut finish adds a touch of natural elegance, making it a versatile piece for living rooms with neutral tones or richer colour palettes. It’s practical too, with ample storage behind the glass panel and a secure mounting arm for the TV, keeping the space uncluttered. For styling, consider pairing it with textured accessories such as woven baskets or metallic accents to add interest, and keep the top surface clear for statement ornaments or fresh flowers to draw the eye. Its compact corner design makes it ideal for maximising space in smaller rooms, while still offering a stylish statement piece.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
