Description

Delightfully minimal with a subtle Scandi style, our Zander two-tone desk is the perfect modern workstation. Crafted with textured ripple front drawers, contrasting legs and a sleek grey top, it offers ample storage and space to let your creative juices flow. Finished with practical push-to-open drawers, this simple, statement desk is every organiser's dream.

Our Stylist Says

I love this desk for its clean, modern aesthetic and versatile two-tone finish, which makes it a great fit for both contemporary and minimalist interiors. Its compact size and practical drawers provide clever storage without overwhelming smaller spaces, making it ideal for home offices, bedrooms, or even a stylish landing station. To style it effectively, consider pairing with light, airy accessories or a pop of colour in office essentials to keep the look fresh. You could also add a small desk lamp or a potted plant on top to soften the utilitarian vibe and personalise the workspace. Overall, it’s a functional and stylish piece that blends practicality with a sleek, understated design.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
