Price History
Description
Striking and sculptural. Simplicity is key in the design of this chic tripod floor lamp. Three elegant chrome rods meet 150cm above the floor where a soft grey circular shade encloses a low energy light bulb. Position next to the sofa as a cosy reading light. Or let the lamp stretch its legs in a gloomy corner of the room to brighten it up. When dusk falls, turn the lamp on to cast a warm and friendly glow over your evening in. Balancing a tray with food and drink? No problem. Just tap the in-line floor switch for instant illumination.
Our Stylist Says
I love this tripod floor lamp because of its sleek, modern design that easily complements contemporary interiors. The grey and chrome finish makes it versatile enough to slot into minimalist, Scandinavian, or even industrial spaces. It works particularly well in living rooms or home offices where you want a functional yet stylish lighting piece. Practical styling tip: position it next to a cosy armchair or sofa, with a textured throw nearby, to create a welcoming reading nook. Keep the surround simple, as the tripod shape adds a sculptural element that doesn't need much fuss-letting the lamp do the talking.

About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
