Description

That's sleepovers sorted. Our sleek but sturdy Rico bunk bed lets you say 'yes' to your kids best friend staying the night. Great for siblings 6+ years to share too. Made of solid FSC wood mixed with MDF, the frame measures L198.4cm W100.7cm H146cm. It's simple to assemble and designed to fit neatly into kids' bedrooms. The in-built ladder makes access to the top bunk easy and there's space under the bottom bunk for toy or shoe storage. What a space saver, so much more room to have fun. Bags the top bunk.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Habitat Rico bunk bed frame for its simple, natural pine finish-it's a versatile piece that works well in both traditional and Scandi-inspired children’s rooms. Its straightforward design makes it easy to style with colourful textiles, cosy bedding, and playful accessories, allowing you to personalise the space without clashing with existing decor. Practical tips include adding under-bed storage or a cosy reading nook beneath for extra functionality. It’s particularly ideal for shared rooms or smaller spaces thanks to its efficient vertical setup, and the natural pine lends a warm, calming vibe that can easily complement lots of different colour palettes and themes.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
