Description

The kids can get some serious shut eye in our smart Oliver bed. Its modern grey upholstery is a grown-up choice that works just as well for little ones as it does for teens and the sprung wooden slats provide support for growing kids. It has a hopsack headboard that is great for leaning back on when reading in bed.

Our Stylist Says

I love this bed for its clean, simple design and versatile grey tone, which makes it easy to style across various interiors. It works well in modern, Scandinavian-inspired spaces with neutral palettes, but can also complement colourful or eclectic children's rooms by injecting playful accessories. Practical styling tips include adding layered bedding for a cosy look, and incorporating a mix of textured cushions and throws to create interest. Placing a soft rug underneath enhances comfort and anchors the space. Overall, this bed’s straightforward aesthetic allows it to adapt seamlessly as your child's tastes evolve.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
