Description

A place for everything. This roomy 7 drawer chest is like a tardis. Just keep folding your clothes in to the spacious drawers. Up top you'll find two smaller drawers for jewellery, make-up or grooming tools. Sitting on a curved plinth with metal button handles it is classic Shaker style. Dress the top with fresh flowers or pop a mirror or painting behind for a stunning bedroom feature.

Our Stylist Says

I love the habitat minato 4 + 2 drawer slim chest for its clean, versatile design that works well in various interiors. Its fresh white finish makes it ideal for bringing brightness and a sense of space to bedrooms, hallways, or even compact living areas. It’s particularly useful in modern or Scandinavian-inspired schemes, but it can also be paired with more eclectic styles thanks to its neutral tone. Practical styling tips include combining it with minimalist accessories or colourful textiles to add personality, and placing a mirror or a statement lamp on top to enhance its functional appeal. Its slim profile makes it perfect for narrower spaces where you want storage without sacrificing aesthetic simplicity.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
