Description

A contemporary classic. Our clear glass vase features smooth, slender curves and a flared rim to bring a subtle elegance to your interior. Fill it with freshly cut flowers from the garden or a beautiful bouquet. Simple but sensational. Pop it on the mantle, windowsill or kitchen table. The finishing flourish.

Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Medium Clear Glass Vase is a versatile piece that works well in a range of interiors, from minimalist and modern to more eclectic or rustic spaces. I love it for its clean, simple silhouette, which allows it to complement a variety of floral arrangements or even stand beautifully on its own. For practical styling tips, consider using it as a centrepiece with seasonal or everyday blooms, or fill it with decorative stones or candles for a different look. Its transparency adds a light, airy feel to a room, making it ideal for kitchens, dining areas, or side tables where you want to introduce a touch of elegance without overwhelming the space.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
