Description

When it's made for you, you know you'll love it. Lomond is our first Full Circle range which means while its design roots are in mid-century, it's designed for the future with a focus on recycling. Its style is comfortably inviting, with generous seats, scatter cushions, gently angled lines and tapered wooden legs. And in a velvety sheen chenille, the Lomond takes on a rich, soft, textured look. We've ensured Lomond can be easily disassembled into components, allowing its wooden frame and even legs, bolts and screws to be 100% recycled. And in the unlikely event of damage, this also makes it easy for our trained technician to call and mend it in your home. Offering a more supportive seat, the Lomond's cushions use 100% recycled fibre to create a relaxing, inviting look while offering controlled support. Hand made to order in the UK, the Lomond uses quality materials and traditional techniques for furniture that's unique to you. Our Stylist Says

This three-seater canapé is a versatile choice that works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic interiors thanks to its vibrant papaya colour. I love how the rich fabric adds warmth and a pop of colour, making it a focal point in a living room. Its dark legs ground the piece and allow it to pair effortlessly with both patterned and plain accessories. Styling tips include balancing bold colours with neutral cushions or soft throws, and pairing it with wooden or brass accents for a sophisticated touch. It’s an excellent place to create a lively, inviting lounge that’s both stylish and functional.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
