Description

Woody, herbaceous and zesty. Bask in the comforting scent of this large tree-shaped candle. Aromatic notes of rosemary and lime blend with scents of pine and fir, reminiscent of a fresh evergreen forest. Presented in a frosted ombre glass holder, it twinkles as it catches the light. A green velvet bow ties it all together. Festive, thoughtful and gift-ready. Under the Mistletoe scent. Palm wax. Approximate burn time 68 hours. Size H21, W13, D13cm. Diameter 13cm.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the large single wick candle in the Under the Mistletoe scent because of its understated elegance and festive charm. It works especially well in cosy, traditional interiors or modern spaces looking for a touch of seasonal warmth. Styling-wise, I’d keep it on a neutral tray alongside natural elements like pinecones or greenery for a simple, understated display. It’s also versatile enough to stand alone as an understated centrepiece during the holidays. For a layered look, pairing it with smaller candles or votives in complementary colours can add depth without overpowering the decor. Overall, it’s a practical yet stylish addition that offers a warm glow and a seasonal scent.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
