Description

Snuggle in, Scandi style. This is Nico, our two-tone kids bed frame. In bright white and natural pine, it's simple, modern and versatile. A large, curved headboard and solid wood legs bring a fresh, contemporary feel to your youngster's bedroom. Weight tested to 100kg, it's built for bouncing. And sprung wooden slats make for a good night's rest, just add a mattress. Sweet dreams, sleepyhead.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat kids Nico single bed frame for its clean, minimalist design that works well in a variety of nursery and children’s room styles. Its white finish makes it versatile, blending effortlessly in Scandinavian-inspired interiors, or adding a fresh touch to more contemporary schemes. To style it practically, consider layering with colourful or patterned bedding to bring personality to the space, and add a playful touch with themed accessories or cushions. This bed works particularly well in rooms aiming for a light, airy feel, and can be paired with natural timber furniture or pastel accents for a balanced look. Its straightforward design promotes a clutter-free environment, which is ideal for creating an inviting, restful space for little ones.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
