Description

Climb aboard for a great night's sleep and a fun space-saving solution with the Jackson shorty mid sleeper bed. 15cm shorter than our standard Jackson mid sleeper bed, and 15cm narrower, this is a great bed for small rooms or where space is particularly precious, all wrapped up in one neat footprint. With 4 deep drawers and a handy shelf ladder, there's plenty of storage underneath for clothes, toys and books. Also available in a standard length.

Our Stylist Says

The Habitat Jackson Shorty Mid Sleeper is a practical and sleek choice for children's rooms, especially in modern or Scandinavian-inspired interiors where clean lines and simplicity are key. I love its minimalist design in crisp white, which makes it versatile enough to complement colourful décor or more muted, monochrome schemes. Styling tips include adding colourful textiles, fun wall art, or playful accessories to create a lively space. Under-bed storage solutions or a clever desk setup can maximise the space, making it both functional and inviting for kids. This bed suits interiors aiming for a bright, clutter-free look while offering practical versatility as children grow.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
