Description

This chunky bunk bed is made with hardwearing solid wood. It comes complete with 2 Silentnight kids mattress so you can get set up as soon as it all arrives. The thick rails and slats help give it a sturdy finish and, best of all, it can be separated and used as 2 individual beds too. We've made sure the ground clearance is the same on both beds so if you use them separately, they'll look identical. Fitting holes are also plugged when you separate them so you'll still have the same high quality finish.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this bunk for its sturdy build and clean two-tone finish, which makes it versatile for various children's rooms. It works well in contemporary interiors or more playful, fun spaces, especially when paired with colourful bedding or playful accessories. Practical styling tips include adding under-bed storage solutions for extra organisation and opting for a mix of patterned and solid bedding to add visual interest. To keep the space feeling fresh and airy, I’d suggest placing a soft rug underneath and pairing the bed with matching bedside tables or lighting to create a coordinated look that’s both functional and inviting.

About Habitat

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
