Description

A red vase is a blooming must have. With its thick, ruby coloured glass and gently tapered lines, this elegant design is the jewel in your floral crown. Flowers, foliage, twisted stems, they'll all stand out in style. Size H25, W14,. Diameter 14cm.

Our Stylist Says

The red glass vase is a versatile piece that adds a pop of colour and modern elegance to various interiors. I love how its bold hue can serve as a focal point in neutral schemes or complement warmer colour palettes. It works well in contemporary, Scandinavian, or even eclectic settings, where its striking tone can really stand out. Practical styling tips include pairing it with simple, fresh flower arrangements or displaying it alone as a sculptural accent. It’s a great option for adding visual interest on mantelpieces, side tables, or as a centrepiece on dining or console tables, making it both functional and decorative.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
