Description

This tv unit takes the award for best-in-class. Sleek and modern with a wooden 'floating' shelf and a light concrete effect finish it's bang on trend. With plenty of clutter-busting space, fill the 3 deep drawers with gaming consoles and media player – all on easy glide runners for smooth opening and closing. Pile in DVDs, games, spare cables and remotes and slide the drawer shut. Settle down to your clean and tidy room, choose a film and why not order a takeaway.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Habitat floating TV unit for its sleek, minimalist design that offers a modern touch to any living space. Its large white finish makes it versatile, easily blending into contemporary, Scandi, or even minimalist interiors. The floating aspect not only keeps the room feeling open and airy but also adds a subtle architectural element. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or textured accessories on top, using the open shelves for decorative objects, and placing baskets or boxes inside the compartments for organised storage. It works well with light wood accents or colourful statement pieces to create a personalised, balanced look.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
