I’m a big fan of this Cosmo white TV unit because its clean lines and discreet handles make it a versatile base for any screen, while the two doors and central shelving keep consoles, games and remotes neatly out of sight. Its low, wide profile suits open-plan living rooms or a modern lounge, especially in Scandi-inspired, minimalist or monochrome schemes.
To style, balance the width with two low vases or framed prints at either end, then tuck a small plant or candle in the middle alcove for a hit of greenery or mood lighting. Run cables through the pre-drilled holes at the back and place woven baskets behind the doors to corral DVDs, games or board games without losing the unit’s streamlined appeal.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
