Description

A real softie. Meet Elin, our fabric bedframe that's a smooth take on a classic. We've curved the edges, softened the upholstery with deep button detail, and made the legs chunky and round. We'd call it cute if it weren't so grown up and chic.

Our Stylist Says

I love this small double bed frame for its clean lines and versatile light grey upholstery, which makes it easy to incorporate into both contemporary and minimalist interiors. Its understated design works well layered with textured bedding and colourful cushions for a relaxed look, or kept simple for a sleeker aesthetic. The light wood legs add a warm touch that complements neutral palettes, but it also pairs nicely with darker or patterned accents. Practical styling tips include keeping bed linens crisp and pairing the frame with bedside tables and lamps that match your overall colour scheme, creating a cohesive and inviting bedroom space without overwhelming the room’s proportions.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
