I’m really taken with the Charis bed in light grey - its clean lines and softly upholstered headboard give it a relaxed yet refined look. It works equally well in contemporary schemes or more traditional bedrooms, especially when paired with timber finishes or muted accent colours.
For styling, anchor it with a low-pile rug that extends beyond the frame to create a sense of space. Add simple bedside tables in black or dark wood and layer on textured throw cushions and a lightweight woollen throw in charcoal or deep navy for contrast. Finish with sculptural lamps or a statement wall light to keep the overall look uncluttered but inviting.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
