Description

Meet Elaina, a coffee table with storage you'll love. Industrial meets boho, resulting in a fantastic and timeless style. This warm pine-coloured piece is designed to get you compliments. The rattan door opens to reveal deep storage for your lounge extras and the open shelf is perfect for books and magazines. Elaina is practical and a pleasure to live with.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this coffee table because of its clean, natural look and versatile design. The pine finish gives it a warm, inviting feel that works well in both modern and Scandi-inspired interiors. Its practical size makes it ideal for living rooms where space is a consideration, and the open shelf is perfect for stashing essentials like books or trays. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral-toned sofas and adding cosy textiles on top, such as a chunky knit or a decorative tray with candles. You can also soften the look with some potted plants or colourful accessories to create a layered, lived-in vibe. Overall, it’s a great piece that combines functionality with understated style.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
