Description

Texas combines real wood with metal to create a casual industrial feel to your home. Smooth lines with soft angled edges are a feature throughout the Texas range which emphasise the black stove paint coated metal bases. The cabinets themselves are made from real wood with a warm antique effect waxed finish. The raised base makes cleaning easy too. Simple design and practical storage combine in our open Texas coffee table. The top surface is ideal for your favourite scented candle and of course a drink or snack, but remember to use your coasters to protect the surface. Underneath is plenty of open storage for books, magazines and gadgets, keeping them easy to hand, just where you need them.

I’m a fan of this pine-and-steel coffee table because it pairs natural warmth with a streamlined industrial feel. Its open shelf is ideal for stashing magazines or a neat stack of coffee-table books, while the pale waxed pine surface keeps the look light. It works equally well in a Scandi-inspired living room or a loft-style space with exposed brick. For styling, start with a small tray for remotes and a sculptural vase or candle, then balance out the lower shelf with a couple of leather-bound volumes or woven baskets. The black metal legs tie in neatly with darker accents like picture frames or lamp bases.
