Description

Join the feet up club. For fans of artisan-inspired decor, this cube pouffe will add instant character to your home. In a versatile monochrome, the detailed weave design is complemented further by tufted detailing. Crafted from 90% wool and 10% cotton, this Berber-inspired piece is a super-soft and incredibly inviting. Adding a sense of calm and tranquility to your space, this tactile footstool is sure to bring the relaxation. Pop it next to your favourite accent chair for a corner that's full of zen.

Our Stylist Says

I love this boho-style footstool for its relaxed yet versatile look, making it a great addition to casual living rooms or cosy corners. The light grey fabric makes it neutral enough to work with a variety of colour schemes, especially in spaces with earthy tones or textured textiles. It’s perfect as an extra seating option or as a handy place to rest your feet, and the textured, patterned design adds visual interest without overwhelming a room. For styling, consider pairing it with natural fibres like rattan or linen for a layered, laid-back aesthetic. It also works well tucked under a low coffee table or placed beside a sofa for an effortless, approachable vibe.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
