Our Stylist Says
I love this bit of lighting because it combines modern simplicity with a touch of retro charm, making it versatile for various interiors. The black and white colour scheme ensures it can slot seamlessly into both contemporary and eclectic spaces, adding a stylish focal point on the ceiling. It works particularly well in living rooms, kitchens, or open-plan areas where you want a statement piece without overwhelming the decor. For styling tips, consider pairing it with minimalist furniture or a monochrome colour palette to highlight its sleek design, or mix with brass or wood accents for a more eclectic look. Using clear globes like these also helps to distribute light evenly and keep the space feeling bright and inviting.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
