Description

Bring organic texture to your floor with the Kayla jute rugs. Woven in soft natural tones, they feature a simple, understated finish that suits both modern and rustic interiors. Perfect for living areas, bedrooms or hallways, they add warmth underfoot and create a calm, relaxed foundation.

Our Stylist Says

The Kayla Jute Rug is a great choice for adding natural texture and warmth to a variety of interior styles, from boho-inspired schemes to more minimal, Scandi interiors. I love its neutral, earthy tone, which makes it versatile and easy to layer with other textiles and furniture. It works particularly well in living rooms, bedrooms, or even dining areas where a relaxed, organic feel is desired. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with light wood or matte metallic accessories, and avoid placing it in high-traffic or overly damp areas, as jute can be sensitive to moisture. For a neat finish, opt for simple, understated furniture and decor that allow the rug’s natural beauty to stand out.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
