The Glacies vase is made up of two separate parts: a conical base, onto which the long, cylindrical body slots. This vase's most impressive feature has to be the interlocking nature of these two, elementary geometric shapes: the transparency of the glass allows the viewer to appreciate the way the cone slots into the cylinder. Glacies evokes an iceberg piercing through the ocean's surface, with a mysterious yet tranquil beauty.
