Description

The Fleur 8 drawer cabinet is a feminine design that offers practical storage for a variety of items, from accessories and smaller items of clothing to make up, jewellery and paperwork. Its combination of handmade ceramic knobs and natural oak wood and veneers make it an attractive addition to the bedroom or hallway. Designed by our in-house team and made in Europe from solid oak and oak veneers, it is part of the comprehensive Fleur bedroom furniture range.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little chest for its charming blend of practicality and character. The oak construction offers warmth and durability, making it versatile for both modern and traditional interiors. The patterned ceramic handles add a playful touch, giving it a unique visual interest that doesn’t overpower a space. It works well in bedrooms, hallways, or even a playful home office. When styling, consider keeping the top clear with a few colourful decorative items or plants to enhance its personality, while organising essentials in the drawers for a tidy look. Its striking handles make it stand out, so pair it with understated accessories to let it shine.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
