Description
Designed by trio Piero Gatti, Cesare Paolini and Franco Teodoro in 1968 and exclusively at The Conran Shop in three colourways for 2021, the award-winning Sacco Anatomical Easy Chair seamlessly adapts to become whatever the sitter requires. Whether an armchair or a place to recline, the chair's malleable form is both supportive and soft, filled with highly resistant polystyrene balls and upholstered in Zanotta's VIP fabric. Boasting fire-resistant and antibacterial qualities, the material is treated with Permablock for a stain-proof finish that makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Manufactured by Italian leaders in industrial design Zanotta, the Sacco is an exemplary piece of contemporary design, exhibited at prestigious global institutions such as New York's Museum of Modern Art and the Vitra Design Museum in Germany. Most recently, the chair was bestowed the coveted Compasso d'Oro Lifetime Achievement Award.
