The ivory-coloured faux silk shade softens the edge of the powerful 7-bulb light and emits a glow that creates the illusion that the shade itself is fading into the background. The three suspension wires appear to be so thin that they are barely perceptible, and the brushed tones of the plain, aged brass ceiling rose are echoed in the accent at the centre of the gloss white acrylic diffuser.
