Description

The Hartford is an electrically operated rise and recliner chair covered in a soft to touch air leather. Air leather is a fabric designed to give the look of leather but breathe like fabric and contains no actual leather. The chair is constructed from solid hardwood with a pocket sprung seat interior covered in foam, giving the perfect balance between comfort and support. The reclining mechanism is metal and operated by an easy to use remote control. The chair boasts integrated massage points in the seat, lower back and headrest with a heat function also in the lumbar area.

Our Stylist Says

The Eastford Electric Riser Recliner works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors thanks to its classic brown leather finish, which offers versatility and durability. It’s ideal for adding comfort and function to living rooms, especially in spaces where practicality is a priority, such as family rooms or cosy reading nooks. To style around it, consider pairing with neutral or warm-toned textiles and simple, understated accessories for a balanced look. Practical tips include placing it near a side table to utilise the massage and heat features fully, while avoiding clutter nearby to maintain a clean, inviting space. Overall, it’s a great investment for creating a functional yet comfortable environment.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
