I’m a fan of the Regent armchair because its rich tan leather and button-back tweed blend hard-wearing materials with a tailored look. The turned legs and brass studs give it just enough detail to sit comfortably in both contemporary country homes and more traditional studies.
Pair it with a wool blanket draped over one arm and a low-slung side table in dark oak. A textured cushion in muted greens or rusts will tie into the tweed, while a warm-metal floor lamp nearby keeps the corner inviting without over-styling.
