Description

This fun cherry / cheri wordplay from Poet and Painter is typical of their popular and playful style, ideal for your kitchen or social space. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight, making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK and framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Poet and Painter was founded in 2015. Their approach to design is, much like them, untethered. They aren't interested in any styles that are trending. They leave that to the trendy people. They prefer to tread their own messy path. They write all their own words and they relish the freedom of approaching each card as a separate piece of artwork they can splash around with. They offer all their designs and products plastic-free, they print on FSC-rated boards in the UK with minimal waste, and they consider the environmental credentials of all their suppliers. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings? EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). The frame width varies across the range. The medium frame measures 2.2cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 33.4 x 28.4cm 43.4 x 33.4cm 53.4 x 43.4cm 83.4 x 63.4cm The wide frame measures 3.5cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 36 x 31cm 46 x 36cm 56 x 46cm 86 x 66cm

Our Stylist Says

I love how this poster adds a pop of colour and a touch of playfulness to any space. It's ideal for casual, eclectic interiors or for creating a focal point in a kitchen or breakfast nook. The cherry illustration and handwritten style make it feel approachable and fun, perfect for a relaxed or modern setting. When styling, consider pairing it with simple, minimal frames or hanging it among other framed artworks for an eclectic gallery wall. For practical tips, place it at eye level for maximum impact and use it to bring a fresh, lively vibe to rooms that could benefit from a bit of colour and humour.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
