A modern framed floral print, 'Alstroemeria XII' by artist Garima Dhawan. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK in an exclusive size for John Lewis & Partners, and framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Garima Dhawan is an artist interested in the coming together of opposites to create something new. She works with traditional printmaking techniques to explore the beauty of the hand made. Her explorations begin with collage and hand-printed forms and then she digitally manipulates them. Dhawan is inspired by music, nature, poetry, literature and spiritual teachings.
