Description

In keeping with the ever so stylish floating shelf trend, our Distressed Zinc Slimline Shelf is the perfect addition to a more industrial interior style. Made from stainless steel, its natural and rustic appearance adds a more modern touch to your space, whilst providing extra storage in your home. A small lip on the shelf prevents your belongings falling off for a shelf that is as practical as it is stylish.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of this slimline zinc shelf for its neat, industrial look and pared-back profile - it’s perfect where you need a little extra storage without bulk. It sits comfortably in modern, Scandi-inspired or urban-loft interiors, and the gently worn finish brings a touch of warmth to a neutral palette. Styling tip: keep the overall look uncluttered by grouping just three to five objects - a small plant, a candle, a framed print or a couple of ceramics. Try mounting two at staggered heights in a hallway for keys and post, or above a kitchen worktop for oils and spices. Its slim depth means you can display everyday essentials without eating into your floor or counter space.

Origins and Evolution

Cox & Cox has a rich history that intertwines with British interior design. The brand traces its roots to Fiona Cox, a renowned figure in the UK's design scene who made waves with her appearance on the BBC's hit show, Home Front.

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.

Marching Towards Sustainability

Cox & Cox is not just about aesthetic appeal; they are deeply committed to becoming a responsible brand.
