Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of the red EVA chair for its clean lines and warm beech legs - it slips effortlessly into Scandi, mid-century modern or contemporary kitchens and home offices. The moulded shell gives a sleek, budget-friendly alternative to upholstery and the bright hue works as a focal point against pale walls or alongside a timber dining table. For practical styling, pair one at the head of the table or mix a couple in neutral shades for a playful mismatch look. Add a simple woven seat pad or a slim linen cushion to soften its silhouette, and keep the rest of the scheme pared-back: a slimline pendant, a single vase of foliage and uncluttered surfaces will let the chair really stand out.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
