Description

Keep time with our stylish Okota wall clock that adds an instant touch of understated glamour to any room. The antique brass finish on the face and metal handles create a simple abstract look that doubles up as a luxurious piece of wall art that would look equally at home in a minimalist, neutral setting or on a richly coloured wall hung among other found objects.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Nkuku Okota wall clock for its striking, minimal design and warm antique brass finish, which adds a subtle touch of elegance without overwhelming a space. It works well in modern, industrial, or eclectic interiors, particularly when paired with neutral tones or mixed metal accents. For practical styling, hang it at eye level in living rooms or hallways, and consider layering with other wall art or mirrors for added visual interest. Its understated yet stylish look makes it a versatile piece that can elevate both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors.

About Nkuku

Established in 2003, Nkuku offers ethically sourced, handcrafted, and eco-friendly homewares and furniture. Their pieces introduce an element of rustic elegance to your space, perfect for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Story of Nkuku

Inspired by the artisans they met during a world trip in 2002, Ali and Alex established Nkuku, a brand that celebrates handmade techniques and traditional skills from artisans across the world.

The journey began with a business plan drafted on a beach, with the name "Nkuku" taken from a Zambian village they passed.

Starting in Devon, they initially sold products from their travels at local markets. Eventually, Nkuku transitioned from a wholesale business to a known retail brand, offering a wide range of homewares, from tableware to furniture.

Values and Ethical Commitment

Nkuku is not just about selling products; it's about values. They are committed to an ethical approach, partnering with independent businesses, social projects, and cooperatives. Their focus? Building transparent, strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual success.

They're also environmentally conscious, incorporating natural and recycled materials into their products. From golden hemp and reclaimed mango wood to textiles recycled from old t-shirts, Nkuku champions sustainability and eco-friendly production methods.

Sustainability at Its Heart

Every Nkuku product tells a tale, capturing the essence of traditional, handmade craftsmanship. By embracing low-impact production methods, they bring collections that are individually crafted, ensuring each piece is unique.

The brand cherishes the age-old knowledge passed down through generations of artisans. It's not just about home décor for them; it's about keeping a rich heritage alive and celebrating the beauty of handmade uniqueness.
