Description

Ideal for modern spaces, the Devos oak and white lacquer sideboard is a functional yet stylish piece that provides ample storage space for accessories. Featuring 3 cupboards and an open shelf space, inside each door you’ll find easily adjustable shelves that provide lots of room for storing everything from plates to napkins, glasses and more. Finished with push close doors for easy opening and quiet closing, there’s still plenty of room to place vases or a fresh bunch of flowers on top. Crafted from white lacquered wood and oak veneer, this sideboard is perfect for placing in a hallway, living room or dining room. Part of the Devos range, a matching cabinet is also available.

Our Stylist Says

I love this sideboard for its clean, contemporary design that seamlessly combines white lacquer with warm oak accents, making it versatile for many interior styles. It works particularly well in modern, Scandi, or minimal spaces, where its sleek lines can stand out without overwhelming the environment. Practical styling tips include using the top surface for subtle decorative items like a statement lamp or a tray for keys, while the open oak shelves are ideal for wine bottles or styling with decorative jars. Its ample storage makes it not only stylish but functional, perfect for living rooms or dining areas where tidy storage is a priority.

About Habitat

Founded in 1964, Habitat are a renowned brand, and a go-to destination for modern and stylish furniture and home accessories.

The Birth of Habitat

In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.

The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.

Rapid Expansion & Legacy

Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.

The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.

Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.

Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.

Innovation & Collaboration

Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.

Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
