Description

St George's is an attractive classic design with a modern interpretation.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a big fan of the St George’s sideboard for its clean white finish paired with warm oak accents - it slots straight into Scandi, modern farmhouse or Japandi schemes. The mix of three drawers, cupboards and an open shelf means you can hide bulky items behind doors, keep bits organised in the drawers and show off a favourite vase or stack of books in the open cubby. Styling-wise, keep the top simple: a low planter, one or two ceramics and a framed print leaned against the wall will give just the right amount of height variation without clutter. Inside the open shelf try a set of matching storage boxes or woven baskets to continue that pared-back look. In the cupboards, use slim boxes or foldable fabric bins to make the most of depth, and you’ll have everything looking neat whether in a hallway, dining space or living room.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
