Description
The Step was designed by Karl Malmvall as a multifunctional and decorative stepladder for the home. A handy tool to have nearby, but even when it's not in use it can be neatly folded and hung upon the wall to serve as a stylized detail that accentuates the space of the room. Available in red or high-gloss black.

I love how this white step-ladder brings both function and form to a room - its clean lines and pale wash work especially well in Scandinavian, minimalist or modern farmhouse interiors. The lightweight design means you can move it between spaces, from a hallway for keys and umbrellas to a living room for magazines and a vase.
For styling, start by hanging a slim cotton throw or lightweight scarf over the top rung, then use the lower steps to display small potted plants, books or folded linens. In a bathroom it’s perfect for rolled towels, while in a bedroom it doubles as a makeshift bedside table for an alarm clock and a couple of carefully chosen reads.
