I’m a fan of this grey 5-tier shelf for its slim profile and industrial-style X-frame sides - it adds structure without overwhelming a room. Its neutral tone and clean lines suit modern Scandi, loft-style or minimalist interiors equally well, and the five tiers offer plenty of visible storage without taking up a large footprint.
When styling, mix books placed both vertically and in small stacks with decorative objects of varying heights - for example, a potted plant or vase on the top shelf, framed prints or small sculptures in the middle, and woven baskets on the lowest shelf to hide clutter. Leave a little empty space on each level to avoid a cluttered look and to let your key pieces stand out.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
