This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
I love this piece for its bold simplicity-it’s a versatile artwork that can really anchor a modern or minimalist space. The deconstructed look adds visual interest without overpowering the room, making it perfect for feature walls in living rooms or bedrooms. I’d suggest styling it alongside neutral palettes to let the red stand out or pairing it with other geometric shapes and textures for an eclectic vibe. To get the most impact, consider hanging it at eye level over a sofa or console table, and keep surrounding decor understated to allow the artwork to speak for itself. It’s a clever choice for injecting colour and contemporary flair into an interior without cluttering the overall aesthetic.
