This series within the 'Deconstructed' collection was inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from a research trip to Berlin, including a visit to the Bauhaus Archive. This artwork features an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. Cut-outs and layering of paper create a new minimalistic dimension in each piece. This art work is printed on 200g uncoated Munken Pure paper and comes in two sizes.
I love this piece for its minimalist aesthetic and geometric simplicity, which makes it highly versatile. It works particularly well in modern and contemporary interiors, especially those with a neutral colour palette, as it adds visual interest without overwhelming the space. To style it effectively, consider placing it in a setting with clean lines and understated furnishings, allowing the artwork to be a focal point. Practical tips include pairing it with matte framing or leaving it unframed for a more raw, gallery-like feel. It also works beautifully above a console table or in a framed grouping to create a striking visual balance.
