I’m a big fan of the Darcy fabric double bed for its neat, curved headboard and soft linen-feel upholstery, which instantly warms up a bedroom without feeling bulky. Its muted grey tone makes it versatile - it sits equally well in a Scandi-inspired room with pale woods and white walls, or in a more eclectic space layered with patterned rugs and bold artwork.
To style it, keep your bedding in relaxed, neutral shades and add texture with a chunky throw or woven cushions. Position simple wooden or metal-legged bedside tables either side, then layer in matching bedside lamps for a cosy glow. A slim runner rug at the foot of the bed and a couple of low-level plants will finish the look while keeping the focus on the bed’s elegant, understated design.
