Description

The luminary Michael Anastassiades presents his latest invention for Flos: the Coordinates Floor Lamp in a breathtaking champagne-hued finish. Initially commissioned for the dining area in New York's historic Four Seasons Restaurant, the dimmable light infuses extruded aluminium with an optical silicone diffuser, easily adaptable to all environments. Designer of the Year at MAISON & OBJET January 2020, Michael Anastassiades's philosophy is to produce exceptionally designed objects of permanent value. The light master's work features in permanent collections at the MoMA, the V & A and the MAK, communicating a sense of eclecticism, individuality and timelessness.

Our Stylist Says

The Coordinates floor lamp in anodised champagne is a sleek, contemporary choice that can elevate a minimalist or modern interior. I love how its understated elegance brings a subtle luxe touch without overpowering the space. It works well in living rooms or reading nooks where a slim profile is preferred, and it pairs beautifully with neutral tones or textures that highlight its soft metallic sheen. For styling, consider placing it next to a low sofa or armchair to enhance its sculptural quality, and keep the surrounding decor simple to let its clean lines do the talking. Practical tip: use warm, dimmable bulbs to fully appreciate its refined hue in the evening hours.
