I’m a fan of this folding desk for its slim profile and warm walnut-effect top on crisp white legs. It works particularly well in minimalist, Scandinavian or industrial‐inspired schemes, slipping neatly into a spare corner or doubling as a hallway console. To keep it looking tidy, limit your desktop props to a small task lamp, a single potted plant and a tray or organiser for stationery. Mount a slim floating shelf above to free up the work surface, and clip your cables under the frame. When you finish for the day, simply fold it away to maximise floor space in a studio flat or guest room.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
