Description
Back in black... Alessi is reissuing some of its iconic models in black. Black, more than any other colour, has the ability to sculpt objects in their purest and most essential form. A steel petal... The Colombina mirror derives its name from the famous collection designed by Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas. It consists of a fixed black frame with a mobile glass mirror on top. The black steel frame emphasizes the soft lightness of the design. The Colombina wall mirror can change shape over time. You just need to rotate the mirror on the frame, changing the overall shape of the object, further enhancing its design value. The design of the attachment plates directly references flower petals, a feature typical of the work of Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas. The Colombina mirror is made in Italy, in the Alessi factory in Crusinallo di Omegna. The wall attachment system is particularly well designed. It consists of plates and components which are the same shape as the mirror making it easy and safe to hang.
