Marrying the versatility of loose covers with welcoming boxy lines and slender arms the seat is further enhanced by a feather filled bolster cushion. Handcrafted in the UK using traditional methods, our Colmar range makes a desirable addition to any living room. The Colmar range also includes a two seater sofa. I’m a fan of this boucle armchair for its warm, tactile surface and soft neutral shade - it instantly adds depth without overpowering a scheme. It works particularly well in Scandi-inspired or modern-farmhouse living rooms, but can also soften a more industrial or minimalist space. Styling tip: tuck a muted linen cushion into the seat and place the chair beside a slim oak side table or a matte-black tripod lamp to create a cosy reading corner. A low-pile wool rug underneath will ground the look and balance the boucle’s texture.
