Description

An early 20th century-style velvet armchair in a traditional English design, with rounded arms and four antique-style brass-coloured castors on stained birch wood legs that are removable and will be attached upon delivery. Comfort is very important to us, and it is delivered in abundance via the sprung back and the seat, which features traditional coil springs. Sapphire velvet brings contemporary appeal to this classic piece.

Our Stylist Says

I love this armchair for its classic shape and vibrant sapphire tone, which makes it a real statement piece. It works well in both traditional and contemporary interiors, especially when layered with softer textures or patterned cushions to add personality. The fixed cover means it’s low maintenance, perfect for busy living spaces, while the rich colour pairs beautifully with neutral palettes or richer jewel tones. For styling, consider placing it in a reading nook or corner to create a cosy, inviting spot, or mix with lighter furniture to add contrast and depth. Its compact size also makes it versatile, fitting comfortably into smaller living rooms or bedroom seating areas.
