The thick, chunky tabletop showcases the wood's natural grain and texture,finished with a high-quality sealantthat ensures protection from the sun, rain, and spills whilst highlighting the wood's inherent charm. The tabletop features a slatted design with individual planks, allowing the wood to naturally expand and contract with temperature fluctuations. This prevents warping and maintains the furniture's structural integrity throughout the year. We also recommend that waterproof covers are used when not in use to help protect it. Chunky X Legs Robust and sturdy, the table's 'X Legs' echo the chunkiness of the tabletop, providing a stable base while exuding a sense of timeless rustic appeal. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
