Paired with the cosiest seat in the house, it makes a great table for sofa suppers and the storage recess allows books and magazines to be discretely tucked away. It exhibits all the signature features of our favourite Chevron Oak range including subtle parquet detailing to the table top which emphasises the serene pale blonde of the natural wood.

I’m really taken with this chevron oak side table for its smart C-shape design and natural oak grain - it slips neatly under a sofa arm, keeping drinks or your laptop within reach without crowding the floor. It suits Scandi, modern farmhouse or pared-back contemporary schemes, especially alongside neutral upholstery and textured wool rugs.
For styling, lean into its slim profile by pairing a small ceramic lamp and a single framed photo on top, then slot a few magazines or slim coffee-table books in the back compartment. Add a trailing plant or a slim vase to introduce a hint of greenery and soften the angular lines.
