Expertly manufactured by master craftspeople at Carl Hansen & Son to celebrate Hans J. Wegner's centenary, this edition of the CH88. P Chair is a clean-lined, colourful design that until now, existed only as a prototype. Originally designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1955, the stackable CH88. P Chair is composed of orange-red Powder-Coated steel legs, with a steam-bent coloured beech backrest available in selected Carl Hansen & Son hues. The gently curved seat is upholstered in Kvadrat's Remix fabric: a rich 90% new wool blend with a solid weave. Allowing for freedom of movement while providing superior comfort, the CH88. P Chair is a lightweight curved form makes it an ideal option for living and dining spaces. Its backrest features gentle curvatures that become resting spaces for the arms, while its stackable form makes it ideal for apartments and houses alike. The CH88. P Chair in an orange powder-coated steel and coloured beech finish is an excellent example of iconic Danish designer Hans J. Wegner's constant striving towards organic simplicity in his work and his desire to create sculptural beauty, comfort and outstanding stability.
