Part of the enchanting Cesta and Cestita Lighting Collection, the Cesta Metálica Table Lamp was originally designed in 1962 by Miguel Milá, showcasing handcrafted constructions with traditionally steam-bent, metal and leather structures. A beautiful decorative object as well as a functional and ambient light, the Cesta Metálica Table Lamp showcases an opaline shade for a diffused emanation that adapts to every space. Expertly crafted with a polished stainless steel structure, the Cesta Metálica Table Lamp is distinctive and simple, and would make the perfect infusion of understated iconic style for your home. Miguel Milá was a pioneer of his generation; born in the 1950s, Spain's industry was in crisis, meaning Milá grew up in a time where handmade things were not only the norm, but necessity. This drove Milá to design and create lamps and furniture that remains renowned to this day, and his work is now known as the epitome of Catalan design.
