I’m a fan of what I’ll call the Butterfly table because its soft-grey, sculptural base and clear glass top keep a room feeling open yet sculptural. It works especially well in contemporary, Scandi-influenced or minimalist spaces - just team it with slim upholstered chairs, a low-pile neutral rug and a linear pendant light to play up its length.
For practical styling, keep the glass clear of clutter and stick to one simple centrepiece such as a matte ceramic bowl or trio of stone candle holders. Anchor the table with textured accents nearby (think a wool rug or concrete planter) so the base remains the star without competing patterns.
